The road to get there might change from time to time, detours might be there along the way, but always remember where you hope to go. What do you consider your biggest break so far? Being blessed with outstanding leadership throughout my professional career. I have been very fortunate to serve under leaders who have allowed me to grow as a professional, which has ultimately led to the success have been able to accomplish. What would most people be surprised to learn about you? I am not a fan of sweet foods. If you had $1 million to give, what causes would you support? I would give to any and all causes that are committed to helping combat hunger and homelessness. What are your passions outside of the workplace? Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and officiating. I serve as a wedding officiant and coordinator; I also officiate high school football in the State of Iowa. What’s something people should know about your generation in the workplace? We are hard workers, determined and motivated individuals. What do you want to accomplish by the time you are 50? I hope to have been a college president for multiple years, making positive impacts on the lives of students and others who are a part of the campus community.
