The annual Farm to Street Dinner will return to downtown Iowa City on Aug. 21, transforming Linn Street into an open-air dining space where attendees will be served a multi-course meal prepared by local chefs.

Now in its ninth year, the event highlights the region’s local food system, with proceeds benefiting an organization focused on food sustainability.

Hosted by the Iowa City Downtown District, the City of Iowa City and Johnson County, the dinner will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Applications for this year’s beneficiary will be released later this spring.

Tickets will be available starting April 1 at 10 a.m. through downtowniowacitymarket.com. Both individual seats and a limited number of six-person tables will be offered.
