Iowa City creates two new urban renewal areas

    The Iowa City City Council voted unanimously at its meeting Feb. 17 to create two new urban renewal areas.

    The North Dodge and Scott and Sycamore districts are areas in need of “rehabilitation, conservation, redevelopment, development, or a combination thereof,” according to council documents.
