The Iowa Brewers Guild (IBG) has announced its collaborative new beer, the UNIFY Hazy IPA.
Each purchase of UNIFY will directly benefit the mission of the Iowa Brewers Guild. Unify is brewed in Iowa and can be purchased from retail shelves or IBG member breweries starting May 1.
“Craft brewing is all about community, and with this release, we want Iowans to embrace our call to ‘drink beer and make friends,'” said IBG Executive Director Noreen Otto in a statement.
The beer flavor has hints of passionfruit and is 6.4% ABV.
This popular brewing project began with its first release in 2021 and annually supports the mission of IBG.
UNIFY’s creation and release is supported by other IBG members and industry suppliers including design by 818 – a tiny design empire; hops suppliers Hollingbery & Son, Inc. and Hopsteiner; labeling partner Strategic Print Solutions; yeast from Omega Yeast; malt from Briess Malt; brewing expertise by Singlespeed Brewing; and distribution support from Confluence Brewing Company.
IBG member breweries include Backpocket Brewing, Big Grove Brewing and Clockhouse Brewing.
It is the third consecutive year the IBG has released a collaborative beer.
The IBG exists to unify craft brewing professionals, promote Iowa beer and advocate for the industry’s growth. For additional information on the Iowa Brewers Guild, including a members list, visit IowaBeer.org.
