The Iowa Brewers Guild (IBG) has announced the winners of the inaugural Iowa Ambassador of Craft awards – the City of Coralville and Des Moines restauranteur Jeff Bruning.
The awards were awarded at a ceremony during the annual IBG Education conference, with more than 100 peers and partners in the industry in attendance.
“The Iowa craft industry is strong because of breweries, but also thanks to all the partners who support them,” said Iowa Brewers Guild Executive Director Noreen Otto. “IBG values those partners, and all they add to our industry and state.”
The award was created to recognize individuals and organizations who have shown exemplary industry leadership in Iowa, such as a pioneering craft brewer, a strong community builder, and brewing mentors. The two 2024 winners reflect community building, dedication to their craft, and leadership that has supported the whole industry.
