Craft’d Coffee, located in the Smulekoffs building at 333 First St. SE in Cedar Rapids, has announced they will open a second location in the PCI Medical Pavilion on May 1.

Owned and operated by Amanda Zhorne of Cedar Rapids, Craft’d offers locally-sourced coffees, smoothies, pastries, breakfast, sandwiches, soups and more.

“Opening a second location at the PCI Medical Pavilion is a great opportunity to reach more Cedar Rapidians in the downtown area,” Ms. Zhorne said in a release. “And being centrally located in the MedQuarter District adds another coffee and lunch option for everyone who lives and works here. We’re excited to partner with PCI for this new adventure.”

“We are eager to help a local business like Craft’d grow,” Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa chief executive officer Eric Dalton added. “When you support a local business, you’re not just buying a product or service, you’re investing in Cedar Rapids. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and they create jobs, drive innovation, and make our communities more vibrant.”

The new Craft’d Coffee location will be on the first floor of the PCI Medical Pavilion at 202 10th Street SE in Cedar Rapids. Regular store hours as of May 1 are 7 a.m. to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Craft’d opened in August 2021 in the space formerly occupied by the Early Bird, which closed in March 2020. The coffee shop features coffee sourced from Windmill Coffee Roasters of Ames.
