A new coworking hub called Cowork 1107 overlooking City Square Park has opened inside of Broad and Main on Seventh Avenue in Marion.

Operated by Marion Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO), the coworking space offers a shared, community-driven workspace for location-independent workers and entrepreneurs. Executive level accomodations

The coworking hub sits inside a $13 million, three-story building with eight commercial spaces on the first floor and 34 residential market-rate apartments on the second and third floors. It is one of many Marion developments underway.

MEDCO anticipates the space will be popular, given the rise in remote working in recent years, according to a press release.

Cowork 1107 offer multiple membership levels. Options include a $20 day pass, a $50 punch card that provides for five uses within one month or a monthly $150 community membership. Membership options include access to amenities such as free coffee, a rooftop patio, discounted conference rooms and wifi.
