Coe College will introduce three new academic concentrations this fall designed to address growing workforce demands in healthcare administration, nutrition and supply chain management.
The healthcare administration and supply chain management tracks will be housed within the business administration major, while the nutrition program will be part of the kinesiology major. The college is partnering with Rize Education to deliver the programs through a hybrid model, combining traditional in-person core curriculum with up to six online courses.

“It is our goal to continue to open up more opportunities for our students and simultaneously serve workforce needs,” Coe College Provost Angela Ziskowski said. She noted the programs are designed to equip students with technical expertise alongside critical thinking and communication skills.
The concentrations leverage Coe’s location to provide hands-on experience. Students in healthcare and nutrition can utilize the nearby MedQuarter Regional Medical District for internships, while those in supply chain management will have access to Cedar Rapids’ manufacturing hub.
