Despite recent “turbulence in international markets,” Canada and the United States – especially Iowa – have maintained a prosperous economic relationship for decades, and it’s in the best interest of both countries for that relationship to continue, Canada consul general Beth Richardson stressed Thursday, Jan. 29 in a keynote address at the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance’s annual meeting.
