Community members are invited to team up with All-American Caitlin Clark for a Drive Up + Donate event to benefit the Coralville Community Food Pantry.
Join the University of Iowa basketball star on Friday, April 21, between 4-5 p.m. to drop off much-needed donations at the food pantry, located at 804 13th Ave. in Coralville. This event caps off a month-long Team Up Against Hunger partnership between Ms. Clark and the food pantry. Since March 22, the partnership has raised over $55,000.
Community members donating $22 or more or two health items (listed below) will receive a special basketball card featuring Ms. Clark and will be entered in a drawing to win a custom signed jersey. Ms. Clark will be available for selfies, but will not be able to sign autographs.
All monetary donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar by GreenState Credit Union.
The top-needed items are:
- Menstrual products (pads & tampons)
- Diapers (size 6 & 7)
- Baby wipes
- Baby formula
- Soap/shampoo
