A wide selection of wines, beers and liquor married with competitive prices and superior customer service has landed Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits on the Best of list for the fourth consecutive year.
“Not only does our team provide excellent assistance to shoppers, but they also hold an in-depth knowledge of products, food pairings and the overall experience wine and spirits can bring to an occasion,” said Vice President of Communications Tina Potthoff, adding that the grocery chain draws on expertise across departments to create unique customer experiences. Hy-Vee stores in the Corridor, for instance, host classes in wine and cheese pairing, cooking classes, beer and steak dinners, and other events mixing wine and spirits into the food experience. Ms. Potthoff said Hy-Vee customers have been especially pleased lately by the launch of Big Grove Brewery’s canned beer, previously available only at Big Grove’s Iowa City and Solon restaurants or on tap at the Hy-Vee Market Grille.
