Standing out from the flock suits Black Sheep Social Club just fine. The Cedar Rapids restaurant won the CBJ’s Best New Restaurant award in 2016, and returns this year as readers’ choice for the best spot for a business lunch or dinner. Front of House Manager Chad Weber said its staff has worked hard to make the restaurant a suitable business destination, and aims to serve patrons in a timely manner “so people can enjoy their food without scarfing it down.” The Black Sheep changes its Iowa-Jamaican-influenced menu a few times each year, with its newest menu out this week. For the happy hour business types, the bar offers 13 different variations on the Moscow Mule. “We’re always striving to be better and do better,” Mr. Weber said.
