Creating beautiful and beautifying experiences has helped Elevate Salon & Spa connect with customers, and win this year’s Best Salon category.
Vinton natives Scott and Julie Rouse acquired the former City Looks salons at Westdale Mall and Lindale Mall in 2014, moving them into larger spaces along busy Edgewood and Blairs Ferry roads. “We find that people are looking for experiences more than ever now, and there’s fewer and fewer places focused on that,” Mr. Rouse said. “It seems like most businesses, the online retailers and things like that, are very price-focused and what’s lacking in most people’s lives is experience.”
Elevate stands out from its competitors by offering hair styling, manicures, skin treatments, massage, spray tanning and pedicures all in one location. Mr. Rouse said staff take a team approach that is not seen at salons where cosmetologists rent chairs, with each team member focused on creating the best customer experience.
