BerganKDV has merged with two human capital management (HCM) service providers: Paystubz based out of Rapid City, South Dakota, and People Etc., based out of Kankakee, Illinois. The merger for the three organizations had a close date of December 31, 2021. Soon after closing, Paystubz and People Etc. will use the BerganKDV name and branding.
Paystubz is the largest HCM service provider in South Dakota, with clients operating in 35 states and a strong presence in the Dakotas, Montana and Wyoming. Since 2007, they have offered innovative software solutions to their clients to address their payroll and HR challenges.
People Etc. has served clients from various industries including healthcare, manufacturing, retail and more for over 15 years. They offer clients flexible and seamless payroll and HR software and have a focus on solving staffing issues for their clients to ensure they are hiring for success.
This merger brings together three organizations that share a similar passion for innovation and client service. According to a news release, it allows BerganKDV to grow its talent and resources on its Human Capital Management (HCM) team, providing clients with advanced industry insight and increased service levels to better streamline their workforce processes. The partnership also expands BerganKDV’s reach to new markets with the addition of team members in states that the firm did not regularly operate in.
The partnership adds a total of 21 new team members to BerganKDV between the two companies, bringing the firm’s total headcount to about 515 employees. “We are so excited to have these organizations join the efforts of our HCM team,” said Brittany Gonzalez, HCM Leader at BerganKDV. “The merger will be beneficial to both our clients and team members, as it presents an opportunity to gain new innovative perspectives to best serve our clients’ needs and improve their payroll and HR processes.
