Iowa is half a world away from Vietnam, but Czech Village feels like home to Anh Le.

Ms. Le originally from Saigon, owns Anh’s Bread Therapy and Tea House, 77 16th Ave. SW, in the historic Cedar Rapids business district.

“Growing up, every business is a small local business in Vietnam,” she said, citing alleys where families open shops or restaurants “right where they live.”
