Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Iowa City, the local leader in marketing, print and direct mail, recently announced the winner of its “Funding Five” campaign, an initiative that offered small businesses the chance to win free services from Allegra.
According to a news release, the organization Holiday Lights at the Lake (HLL) was the selected contest winner and recipient of the Funding Five award, $500 in free services from Allegra Iowa City.
Established in 2021, Holiday Lights at the Lake is an annual community event featuring a mile-long path of holiday lights throughout the West Overlook campground. All proceeds from the event are dedicated to supporting home hospice patients in need of financial assistance at The Bird House Hospice Home of Johnson.
“Our partnership with Allegra Iowa City was instrumental in generating awareness of our Holiday Lights at the Lake fundraiser for The Bird House. Receiving this prize and leveraging Allegra’s customized marketing, print and mail solutions helped make our 2023 event a huge success,” said Jessica Pfab, committee member and representative of The Bird House. “After wrapping up the fundraiser’s third annual run, we’re not only grateful for this campaign that resulted in the production of more than a thousand marketing flyers for our event, but we’re also thankful for the partnership we’ve received from the entire team at Allegra. We look forward to working together to continue making positive impacts in our community for years to come.”
Holiday Lights at the Lake, also a long-standing customer of Allegra Iowa City, collaborated with the company to design a handout flyer sharing details of HLL’s 2023 event. Allegra Iowa City provided 1,500 colorful flyers, which volunteers distributed throughout the community to get the word out to local families.
