Allegiant nonstop flight Cedar Rapids Florida

Allegiant today begins a new nonstop route from Cedar Rapids via The Eastern Iowa Airport to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) in Florida. To celebrate, the company is offering one-way fares on the new route as low as $49.

“The sunny beaches of Florida offer vacationers the perfect winter getaway, and we are thrilled to provide locals with new, affordable options for flying there,” Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and network planning, stated in a release.

The new route will operate twice weekly. Flight days, times and fares can be found at Allegiant.com. Seats and dates are limited and fares are not available on all flights. Flights must be purchased by Nov. 21 for travel by Feb. 14, 2022.

“Allegiant has been a strong partner with CID and the Eastern Iowa region since it first started service here in 2004,” CID Director Marty Lenss stated in a release. “We appreciate the continued investment Allegiant is making and are excited to launch Allegiant’s eighth nonstop city from CID. Florida destinations are more popular than ever, and to have a low-fare, nonstop option to Sarasota-Bradenton provides a great opportunity for people to hit the beach and enjoy the sunshine.”
