Downtown Iowa City’s 54th Annual Sidewalk Sales returns this weekend, today-Sunday. More than 30 downtown retailers are participating with special deals.
This year, the Iowa City Downtown District is partnering with Hills Bank’s Lemon Boss Program to host lemonade stands during the Iowa City sidewalk sales. Hills Bank is funding summer start-ups with their annual Lemon Boss program designed to teach kids how to start their own business, including securing a business loan, recording financial information, managing money and developing customer service skills.
