The U.S. Small Business Administration backed 37 loans for $18.3 million to Iowa businesses in December, including two in the Corridor.
Area businesses receiving loan approvals in December included:
- By Design LLC, Anamosa, $3,042,200
- Rilina LLC, Cedar Rapids, $215,000
Corridor loan approvals totaled $3,257,200 in December. Corridor businesses reported retaining 106 jobs and creating 22 as a result.
Statewide, the SBA 7(a) and 504 programs capitalized 22 new and 15 existing businesses that report creating 142 new jobs and retaining 271 jobs as a result.
