Buff City Soap, a brand known for its 100% plant-based soap products, is opening its first location in Cedar Rapids.
The customizable soap ‘makery’ uses no harsh chemicals, is cruelty-free and is free of animal fats, according to their website.
“We think that Buff City Soap has found a perfect new home here in Cedar Rapids,” said owner Chris Meyers in a press release. “We know the local community will appreciate the chance to fully customize their own unique, plant-based soap products. Our wide variety of plant-based offerings can appeal to anyone’s unique preferences.”
Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 unique and customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap and laundry soap. Guests are able to customize scents and ingredients used in the process to create a unique scent profile.
The Cedar Rapids location joins the more than 125 Buff City Soap stores across 22 states.
