The Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF) opened the application process for its 2026 grants, offering up to $50,000 for programs that address barriers to economic prosperity for women and girls in the state.
Eligible programs must focus on one of six identified barriers: Childcare, Housing, Transportation, Employment, Mentorship, and Education/Training.
Last year, the IWF awarded $400,000 in grants to various organizations across the state.
Grants are awarded to Iowa-based nonprofits, licensed childcare centers, and registered in-home childcare providers. Qualifying programs must submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) by 5 p.m. on May 18, 2026, at iawf.org/grants.
Organizations interested in applying can review previously recorded information sessions on the IWF website.
Recipients of the 2025 Grants will be announced at the 2026 IWF Annual Fall Luncheon on Oct. 20 at the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center..
