Age On, a fitness community focused on older adults, will host a special educational event on the connection between exercise and brain health on Monday, April 1, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Versa Fitness, 100 Windflower Ln, Solon.

The free presentation will explore how physical activity can help lower the risk of cognitive decline, regardless of an individual’s health history or genetic risk. Attendees will learn about the most effective types of exercise for supporting brain function, memory, and long-term cognitive health.

Following the discussion, participants will have the option to experience these concepts firsthand in a brain health workout led by licensed physical and occupational therapists.

Age On, described as more than a gym, provides evidence-based fitness programming and expert coaching to help adults 55 and older stay strong, independent, and engaged.

For more information or to reserve a spot, contact Jake Raecker, a physical therapist and founder of Age On, at [email protected] or 319-220-0712.
