MANCHESTER, Iowa — F&M Bank employees and the bank’s matching program raised $27,635.48 for four Iowa charitable organizations in 2023.

The funds were collected through the F&M Bank Employee Charitable Organization Match Program, in which employees voluntarily donate a portion of each paycheck and the bank matches the total dollar for dollar, up to $5,000.

“F&M Bank is dedicated to serving our communities,” said Nate Dunn, president and CEO. “Giving back is both a privilege and a responsibility. I continue to be impressed by the generosity of our team and am proud to support this program.”

    The donations were distributed geographically:

    • Jones County: $5,721 was raised for Chelsey’s Dream Foundation, an organization that provides financial grants to families adopting children.
    • Cedar Rapids: $10,765.44 was raised for Last Hope Animal Rescue, a 100% volunteer-run organization that provides medical and behavioral care for animals before they are placed in foster or forever homes.
