The University of Iowa’s online MBA program climbed 11 spots in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, landing at 14th nationally among online MBA programs for 2026.
The Tippie College of Business’ Iowa MBA also placed in the top 20 in specialty categories, ranking 12th in business analytics, 16th in finance and 12th among online MBA programs for military veterans, according to U.S. News.
Poets & Quants, another prominent business publication, ranked the Iowa MBA 26th nationally, citing the program’s academic quality, student outcomes and flexibility for working professionals.
“Rankings are only one measure of excellence, but they underscore the Iowa MBA’s undeniable impact and how strongly employers and peers value the program and the caliber of leaders it develops,” said Amy Kristof-Brown, dean of the Tippie College of Business.
The University of Iowa tied University of Massachusetts–Amherst for online MBA programs in U.S. News & World Report’s rankings.
