Sierra, a multichannel off-price retailer, will open its fifth Iowa location at Coral North Shopping Center in Coralville this month.
A grand opening celebration will begin at 8 a.m. Nov. 15 and will include music, giveaways and a hidden tag activity for gift card prizes.
“We’re thrilled to continue growing in the state with our new Coralville location, reaching the greater Iowa community,” said Amanda Johnson, assistant vice president and marketing director for Sierra. “Our goal is to help more people embrace active living by offering great value on the gear and apparel from brands they love.”
The company says it will donate $10,000 to House Into Homes in celebration of the opening. It’s a cause that “supports the organization’s mission to provide household items to families and individuals affected by homelessness, domestic violence, and other crisis situations, and help turn their house into a home,” a release stated.
The store is located at 2515 Corridor Way, Suite 5, Coralville. Regular hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Sierra is hiring full-time and part-time store associates for the Coralville location. Information is available at jobs.tjx.com.
