SBA approves over $14 million in Iowa loans in July 2025

    The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) approved 29 loans totaling just over $14 million to Iowa businesses in July 2025, including several firms in the Corridor, according to newly released monthly figures.

    The financing was made available through the SBA’s two largest lending programs and came from participating lenders across the state.

    The SBA’s 7(a) and 504 programs helped capitalize 10 new and 27 existing businesses in Iowa last month, according to a release, issuing a total of $14,072,500 in loans for the month.

    Together, the recipients reported creating 73 new jobs and retaining 111 existing positions as a result of the financing.

    According to the Small Business Administration report, seven Corridor businesses received Iowa SBA loans in July under the program:

    • Krivera, LLC of Williamsburg received $2,137,000, creating one new job and retaining three existing jobs.
    • Fackler Acquisition, LLC of Iowa City received $205,500, creating two new jobs and retaining four existing jobs.
    • Grit Gym, LLC received $165,000, creating two new jobs.
    • Calyx Creek LLC received $664,000, creating two new jobs.
    • Eric Miller of Monticello received $320,000, creating two new jobs.
    • Game Station Inc. of Cedar Rapids received $150,000, retaining two existing jobs.
    • Rolling Pup Wash LLC of Marion received $135,500, creating one new job and retaining one existing job.
