Diversity
Covering the whole Corridor
Corridor Business Journal’s mission is to represent, appreciate, and elevate all voices in our region, ensuring that our coverage, events, and initiatives reflect the rich perspectives that make our community thrive.
A commitment to representation
Elevating voices through events and programs
Diversity and inclusion are at the core of our events, where we intentionally highlight a wide range of perspectives and leaders:
- CBJ Women of Influence Awards – Since 2005, this signature event has recognized more than 200 exceptional female leaders in our community. Honorees are chosen by a committee of past honorees each year.
- CBJ Leadership Academy – This program includes dedicated training on diversity, equity, and inclusion, helping participants understand the benefits of diversity, employment laws supporting equality, and strategies to address biases.
- CBJ Forty Under 40 Awards – This annual event recognizes 40 young professionals who are making an impact in their industries and communities. In 2024 this event celebrated its 20th anniversary, making it one of the CBJ’s longest standing events. Honorees are chosen by a committee of past honorees each year.
At the CBJ, we know that it takes all kinds to build a strong, vibrant business community. That’s why we strive to include diverse speakers, panelists, and honorees at all of our events.
