The salary increase marks the third raise for Ms. Wilson in three years. In 2021, her inaugural year, Ms. Wilson was earning $600,000, the Board of Regents beefing up her salary each year by $50,000, making her the highest-earning president out of all three regent universities.
The board passed the proposed pay upgrades unanimously, following a decision to approve tuition and mandatory fee hikes for students at all three universities beginning this fall.
