The Street Food Fighter, a food truck business serving Asian-inspired fusion street food established in Cedar Rapids in 2016, has announced they’re organizing a Street Food Festival Saturday, July 19 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Ellis Park softball parking lot.
According to the event page for the festival, the Street Food Fighter will be joined by other food trucks and vendors for the event, which will also include music, face painting and other family-friendly activities.
A total of 10% of all sales from the festival will be donated to area homeless shelters.
The Street Food Fighter also indicated they plan to hand out 100 book bags to local children, along with giving away 300 egg rolls and 300 crab meat rangoons to attendees.
Attendance is free, but donations are “highly encouraged.”
