Six Corridor companies receive SBA loans in December

    The U.S. Small Business Administration has released its monthly approval figures for loans in Iowa for the month of December 2025, and six Corridor companies received loans under the program.

    According to the SBA report, local companies receiving loans in December are as follows:

    • Russelloy Iron Foundry, LLC of Coralville, which received a loan of $1,321,300, retaining 19 existing jobs.
    • The Cone Shoppe LLC of Monticello, which received a loan of $400,000, retaining 12 existing jobs.
    • Peters Legacy, Inc. of Cedar Rapids, which received a loan of $597,000, creating eight new jobs and retaining 63 existing jobs.
    • Arends Golf, LLC of Cedar Rapids, which received a loan of $330,000, creating two new jobs.
    • White Sand Enterprises LLC of Hiawatha, which received a loan of $40,000, retaining two existing jobs.
    • JCB Legacy Group, LLC of Marion, which received a loan of $229,000, creating three new jobs and retaining seven existing jobs.

    Overall, the SBA backed 30 loans for $20,180,200 to Iowa businesses from participating lenders using its two largest lending programs.

    The SBA’s 7(a) and 504 programs capitalized 16 new and 14 existing businesses, creating 55 new jobs and retaining 316 jobs as a result.
