Pet supply store opens in downtown Washington

    A new pet supply store with roots in service dog training has opened for business in downtown Washington.

    On July 23, a grand opening was held for Gray’s Pet Supply, located at 208 S. Marion Ave., according to a release from the Washington Chamber of Commerce.

    Whitney Gray, owner of a local pet supply store, is also the co-founder of Gray Canine Rescue and Rehab alongside Thadd Gray and Chase Dieleman. The organization specializes in service and therapy dog training. In addition to these services, Ms. Gray offers emergency behavioral training for dogs.

    Ms. Gray “has a long history of serving our community through her home business,” stated the release, and she works extensively with non-profit Washington pet shelter PAWS & More.

    • This week until Saturday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday
    • Regular hours beginning July 30th: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday
    • Open until 6 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday
