Palmer Group has released its 2026 Salary Guide, offering salary data and job market analysis for positions across Iowa.
The guide, which has been published annually since 2013, includes salary ranges for hundreds of positions across eight major industries. It also covers market stability, candidate availability and technology’s influence in the workplace.
The guide is based on survey data and industry analysis.
“Market volatility has been a defining feature of 2025. The new year brings with it some certainty in terms of compensation rate stability, continued focus on retaining top talent, and new parameters and expectations around the importance of connection and collaboration by having team members together in person more often,” said David Leto, president and CEO of Palmer Group. “Employers need to continue to be aware of the dynamic market conditions and prioritize decisions that will positively impact company culture and performance.”
Palmer Group developed the guide in partnership with the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Central Iowa SHRM and the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance.
