Kinseth Hospitality assumes management of New York hotel

    Kinseth Hospitality Companies has assumed management of the Courtyard by Marriott Middletown Goshen in Middletown, New York, marking the Coralville-based company’s first property in the state.

    The management transition took effect Jan. 7, according to a company announcement. The addition brings Kinseth’s portfolio to more than 130 hotels across 16 states.

    The Courtyard by Marriott Middletown Goshen offers meeting space and access to the Hudson Valley region’s business centers and attractions. The hotel will continue operating under the Courtyard by Marriott brand.

    “Expanding into New York is an exciting milestone for Kinseth Hospitality Companies,” said Ben Kinseth, vice president of development/finance at Kinseth Hospitality Companies. “The Courtyard by Marriott Middletown is a strong property in a vibrant market, and we look forward to supporting the hotel team while delivering consistent, high-quality experiences for guests and Marriott Bonvoy members.”

    Kinseth manages hotels across multiple brands. The company develops and operates full-service, limited-service, boutique and resort hotels, as well as restaurants and event venues.

    “Our approach is centered on operational excellence, strong local leadership, and collaboration with brand partners,” said Shana Craven, vice president of operations at Kinseth Hospitality Companies. “We are pleased to bring that approach to Middletown and to establish Kinseth’s presence in New York.”

    KHC currently manages more than 130 hotels across 15 states.
