Despite proposals floated this summer to dramatically revamp the funding structure of the Iowa Public Employees Retirement System (IPERS), “the benefit is secure and guaranteed for life no matter what,” IPERS CEO Greg Samorajski said Wednesday, Dec. 3 during a sit-down interview with the Corridor Business Journal at the Cedar Rapids Public Library.
