The Iowa Women’s Foundation (IWF) is now accepting applications for its 2025 Core Grants, which provide up to $50,000 to Iowa-based organizations working to address barriers to self-sufficiency for women and girls.
The grants support programs that focus on one or more of six areas identified by the foundation: childcare, housing, transportation, employment, mentorship, and education or training. In 2024, IWF awarded a total of $300,000 through this program.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, licensed childcare centers, and registered in-home childcare providers based in Iowa. Letters of Interest must be submitted by 5 p.m. on May 16, 2025, through the foundation’s website at iawf.org/core-grants. Recorded informational sessions are also available on the site.
Recipients of the 2025 Core Grants will be announced at IWF’s Annual Fall Luncheon on November 5 at the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center.
The Iowa Women’s Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides funding and other support to initiatives aimed at improving economic outcomes for women and girls in Iowa.
