The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) has announced the nominees for its 2025 Coolest Thing Made in Iowa contest. The annual competition, now in its second year, is sponsored by MidWestOne Bank and aims to showcase products manufactured in Iowa.

Nominees span a range of industries, including agricultural equipment, automotive components, consumer foods and beverages, industrial manufacturing, construction machinery, recreational products, home improvement tools, and technology innovations.

Public voting is now open at www.coolestthingia.com and will continue through Wednesday, May 7. Voters may select up to four products during the initial voting round. The 16 products receiving the most votes will advance to a bracket-style tournament, where they will compete in head-to-head matchups. Individuals may vote once per day per device during each round.

The winner will be announced during ABI’s Taking Care of Business Conference, scheduled for June 10–12 in Council Bluffs.

ABI, founded in 1903, is a statewide organization representing businesses of various sizes and industries across Iowa. Its members collectively employ more than 330,000 people.
