Iowa BIPOC LGBTQ+ business owners have an opportunity to apply for $5,000 – $30,000 in grant funds, thanks to the PFund Foundation’s Equity Fund Grant.
The Equity Fund is channeling investments into queer entrepreneurs and small businesses throughout the upper Midwest, with a special emphasis on queer entrepreneurs of color and queer-owned businesses in rural areas, according to a release.
This year, the PFund Foundation and Quorum, the Twin Cities LGBTQ+ and Allied Chamber of Commerce are distributing over $400,000 in grant funding across three distinct cohorts.
Each grant recipient receives:
• Grant ranging from $5,000 – $30,000
• Access to five training sessions customized to the needs of small businesses
• One year small business membership with the Iowa LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce
