Honkamp Payroll, LLC, a full-service payroll and human capital management company based in Dubuque, has announced its launch in Eastern Iowa.
Honkamp Payroll hopes to be a “behind-the-scenes business partner” for local businesses, according to a news release. The firm’s staff will help handle a range of essential tasks, saving business owners time, preventing them from having to hire more staff and allowing them to focus on growing their business, the news release states.
The company is led by Chief Executive Officer Mike Welbes and Chief Operations Officer Michael Moes.
“Our platform allows companies to manage their workforce in an intuitive, engaging way to boost productivity and drive results while having a direct customer services representative assist them to simplify their experience,” said Mr. Welbes.
Honkamp Payroll also recently acquired human resources consulting firm BRL HR Consulting, based in North Liberty.
“This acquisition will allow the Honkamp Payroll team to broaden its range of services. With the addition of BRL’s expertise and resources, Honkamp Payroll will offer even more comprehensive solutions to clients,” said Mr. Welbes in a previous release. “We believe joining forces is a great opportunity for clients and staff. With the integration of BRL, Honkamp Payroll has expanded its employee base, reinforcing our commitment to growth and enhancing capabilities.”
