Hills Bank is celebrating the grand opening of its 19th location on Dec. 2. The new branch is located at 200 W. State Street in a renovated historic building in the heart of Williamsburg’s town square.

“Our commitment to community banking has guided every step of this project,” said Lisa Shileny, president and chief operating officer of Hills Bank. “With this new full-service bank branch, we are honored to join Iowa County and the town of Williamsburg, as well as contribute to the vibrancy of the town square with our restoration of this historic building.”

This new location further strengthens Hills Bank’s extensive network of full-service branches, which currently spans Johnson, Washington, and Linn Counties.

“The Williamsburg branch represents an important milestone in the bank’s mission to serve Iowans with excellence while preserving the strong sense of community that has defined its 120-year history,” a release stated.

More information on the upcoming celebration will be announced the week of Dec. 2, bank officials said.
