Chipotle Mexican Grill opened its first location in Coralville on Wednesday, June 19.
The new restaurant at 3260 Redhawk St. features the brand’s signature “Chipotlane” drive-thru for guests to pick up digital orders. Open every day from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m., the location sits next to Redhawk Dental and across the street from Foundry Food + Tap and Jersey Mike’s Subs.
According to a press release from Chipotle, the new Coralville location is now hiring. Each location staffs approximately 30 jobs with competitive benefits, including:
- A crew bonus with the opportunity to earn an extra month’s worth of pay each year
- A debt-free college degree program; and English as a second language
- Access to mental healthcare for employees and their families.
The only other Chipotle in the area is located within the Old Capitol Town Center in Iowa City.
