Don Hummer Trucking has received recognition from FedEx for exceptional performance in its fiscal year 2025 Purchased Transportation program.
The Cedar Rapids-based carrier was honored for reliability, safety and year-round service, according to FedEx. The recognition is awarded to carriers that demonstrate consistent dependability, maintain high standards of safety and service, and provide support during FedEx’s peak operating periods.
“This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team,” Andrew Hummer, vice president of operations, said in a statement. “Reliability means everything in our industry, and our drivers, planners, customer service, maintenance and support staff all contribute to the consistent performance that earned this recognition.”
It is the first time Don Hummer Trucking has received the recognition from FedEx.
Founded more than 70 years ago, Don Hummer Trucking is based in Cedar Rapids and provides dedicated and truckload freight solutions at the local, regional and national levels.
