Coralville-based CIVCO medical solutions is opening its doors to the community June 6 to celebrate its new, 96,000-square-foot facility.
The company designs and manufactures accessories for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, as well as interventional procedures, with a primary focus on ultrasound. The new, centralized headquarters, located at 750 Lois Lane, house both the production facility and corporate offices, and will better support CIVCO’s growth as it pursues medical device innovations to enhance the safety and efficiency of ultrasound-guided procedures, a release stated.

“We are thrilled to welcome the public and give them an inside look at the future of CIVCO,” said Robin Therme, president of CIVCO Medical Solutions. “This facility reflects our commitment to our employees, our community, and the continual development of groundbreaking solutions in medical technology. We look forward to our Iowa team coming together under one roof as we prepare to bring new products to market.”
The new facility houses modern office spaces, product demonstration and training areas, a fitness gym, and other “employee-focused amenities.”
Hubbell Construction Services built the facility, which is managed by Iowa City-based Southgate Companies.
“SouthGate is proud to continue its long-standing partnership with CIVCO, having worked together since 2011 to develop facilities that align with their growth and innovation,” said Caleb Wilson, SouthGate president. “This new headquarters marks the next step in that journey – bringing their teams under one roof in a space designed to foster collaboration, efficiency, and continued expansion. It’s been a privilege to work alongside Robin and her leadership team to help bring this vision to life.”
The open house will occur from 2-4 p.m., with remarks and ribbon cutting at 2:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the building.
