Investing in the latest technology and keeping customers connected is a priority for Mediacom, which once again snags the title as Best Local Internet Service Provider in the Corridor.
The cable giant recently completed a three-year, $1 billion capital reinvestment project, giving its customers greater access to Gigabit internet speeds and community Wi-Fi, and earning it some new accolades.
Last year, the company was named the Best Cable Operator & ISP in the United States by TMT Magazine, a leading industry publication. Mediacom also was named the 2019 winner in the AI and machine learning category at the annual Cablefax Technology Awards. That award recognized “Molli,” Mediacom’s virtual assistant, which uses artificial intelligence to augment and streamline customer service queries.
The company maintains a big presence in the Corridor, and in January inked a deal to secure the naming rights for Coralville’s new 6,000-seat arena in the Iowa River Landing.
