MULTIPLE TIMES ON LISTS
This has been a year of change for Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust, with James Klein taking over as president from Larry Helling, who remains CEO and chief executive of CRBT’s parent company, QCR Holdings, and an ongoing integration with Guaranty Bank & Trust.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the bank’s winning formula, which has landed it a third title as Best Bank, and its first as Best Commercial Real Estate Lender.
“At CRBT, we work hard, but we play hard, too,” Mr. Klein said. “We have created a fun and dynamic workplace, but we also expect a lot from our employees. Attracting and retaining great people remains critical. And when combined with a culture of accountability and an attitude of ‘doing the right thing’ for our employees, clients, community and shareholders, I believe CRBT is positioned for continued success.”
Mr. Klein said the bank, with more than $1.4 billion in assets as of April, has made building relationships with clients the core of its mission. CRBT makes it a point to solicit feedback, both through conversations with customers and net promoter score surveys. It is also dedicated to connecting customers to bank and community resources, he said, as well as being a partner in business.
