As talks continue, Iowa City Starbucks baristas hold the line

It’s been two weeks since Iowa City Starbucks baristas joined the national strike against the coffee giant, and negotiations are ongoing.
Starbucks Workers United launched the strike Nov. 13 after the company failed to finalize a fair union contract, which included new proposals for better staffing, higher pay, and resolution for unfair labor practice charges, according to a press release.
