Manager, Program Management Collins Aerospace AGE: 39 What was your first job? Delivering newspapers as a teenager. Best advice you ever received? To never give up and always keep trying. You will achieve your goals if you put your mind to it. My mom used to tell me this when I complained things were too hard, she would say “you can do anything, if you put your mind to it.” What do you consider your biggest break so far? My biggest career break was getting into program management at Collins Aerospace. It’s not often individuals with non-technical backgrounds and experience have the opportunity to lead and execute programs supporting government and international customers. What would most people be surprised to learn about you? I am a huge fan of Korean movies and drama. I could probably speak a bit of Korean just because I have watched so many. What’s the biggest issue facing the Corridor, and why? Awareness — not every professional in the area knows what the Corridor does and can do for them. What are your passions outside of the workplace? Volunteering at school, supporting the local Temple and community events. What’s something people should know about your generation in the workplace? We work hard, expect less from others and avoid taking shortcuts to achieve success. What do you want to accomplish by the time you are 50? Travel around the world visiting different countries and experience as many different cultures and cuisines as possible.
