Anne Dugger named executive director of Catherine McAuley Center

A new executive director is at the helm of the Catherine McAuley Center.

The board of directors appointed Cedar Rapids native Anne Dugger to the position โ€œeffective immediately,โ€ according to a release.

Ms. Dugger has been with the organization since 2015 and has served as its interim executive director since May 2024. Prior to stepping into the interim position, she led CMCโ€™s Education Services and Refugee & Immigrant Services departments.

โ€œI am honored to officially be the Executive Director of CMC,โ€ Ms. Dugger said. โ€œLeading this team through the past years in several roles has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I look forward to where we can take this organization in the future.โ€

โ€œWe are grateful for Anneโ€™s demonstrated leadership and service to the mission of the Catherine McAuley Center,โ€ said Lori Weih, board chair. โ€œHaving previously led several areas of the organization, she has a strong operational knowledge of the organization, people leadership with the incredibly talented team, and a deep passion for the clients and community. Through the collective leadership of Anne and the team, CMC is well positioned to further our mission in the community we serve.โ€

Ms. Dugger holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Coe College and a Master of Education with a focus on Teacher Leadership from Mount Mercy University.
