Cedar Rapids nonprofit Matthew 25 is opening Groundswell Cafe on March 28 to local individuals and families for an evening of great food and warm hospitality.
At no cost to guests courtesy of a Matthew 25 supporter, Night Out will feature a four-course dinner experience from 5 to 8 p.m. for those who may not have the means or opportunity to enjoy fine dining.
Tables can accommodate two to eight guests and reservations are required to attend. A specially crafted children’s menu will also be available, a release stated.
“We know that a night out can be a rare treat for many families,” said Clint Twedt-Ball, executive director of Matthew 25. “This evening is about showing love, building community, and sharing the joy of a great meal together.”
Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to reserve now by calling 319-582-1167 or emailing [email protected]. Reservations must be made no later than 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26. Groundswell Cafe is located at 201 Third Ave. SW in Cedar Rapids.
