Tri-County Enterprises, a gutter and roofing company in Cedar Rapids, was started in 1997 by Rod Manson.
This is the company’s second year as one of the Fastest Growing Companies in the Corridor. Last year, Tri-County was 10th on the list with 110 percent growth.
“I think it’s about hard work, that drive to succeed and making sure you’re doing a good job for everyone at all times,” Mr. Manson said.
Tri-County has 18-20 employees, and Mr. Manson said hiring the right people has been important in their growth.
“I think it really comes down to finding the right people, and then having everyone buy into the common cause,” he said.
Last year, Tri-County moved into a new location in Cedar Rapids, three times the size of its previous building.
“Our goals are the same as they have always been: to keep trying to be the best we can be with our service in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor,” he said.
