Keep Iowa Beautiful has unveiled a refreshed brand identity aimed at better unifying the statewide nonprofit’s programs and communicating its work across Iowa communities.

The Des Moines-based organization, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate focused on community beautification and volunteer engagement, said the updated visual system brings together its core programs under a cohesive identity while allowing each to maintain a distinct look.

Those programs include Hometown Pride, which supports community leadership and long-term revitalization; Paint Iowa Beautiful, which enhances public spaces; and Pick-Up Iowa, which engages volunteers in cleanup efforts.

The organization said the programs previously operated with limited visual connection to one another.

“For years, our programs have been doing incredible work across the state, but our brand didn’t always tell that full story,” said Andy Frantz, executive director of Keep Iowa Beautiful. “This refresh helps us clearly communicate who we are, what we do, and the impact we’re making in communities every day.”

Board Chair Liesl Seabert said the rebrand is intended to reflect broader organizational momentum.

“This isn’t just a new look. It’s a clearer story about who Keep Iowa Beautiful is and what we do,” Ms. Seabert said. “We’re building a brand that reflects the pride Iowans have in their communities and the momentum happening across the state.”

The rollout is expected to continue throughout 2026, with updates to digital platforms, marketing materials, and program communications.
